PURPOSE OF ORGANIZATION

The Tulsa Spikes is an age-group running club formed by parents and other interested adults to promote the development of cross-country and track & field for the Tulsa-area youth.

ELIGIBLE ATHLETES

The Tulsa Spikes accepts all athletes ages 8 through 18 without regard to skill level, sex, race, religion, or ethnic background. We are a grass-roots organization devoted to the idea that running is a life-long activity, that the gradual development of a youth runner is more beneficial than pursuing a quick but limited success, and that the sport exists to ultimately teach core values to young people such as the good of hard work, self-discipline, patience, and consistency.

  • Track & Field Individual Membership: $60.00
  • Cross-Country Individual Membership: $60.00

Parents are welcome to join USATF ($30.00 adults) as a way to show support for the sport of running. USATF membership includes insurance while traveling, discounts at meets, and information about meets. Athletes and Officials can both join USATF. If you are a recreational/serious racer, or and an official you should consider a USATF membership.
