Coached Tulsa Spikes athlete to a 5th finish
in the discus
2006 OK Class 6A State
Championships
2006 Golden West Invitational

Coached Kylie to an OK State Championship,
breaking the overall State Record in the discus with a throw of
158’-8”.

Coached Spurgeon to a ranking of Third in the
Nation with a best throw of 160’-4” at the Golden West
Invitational.
·
During her junior year with the Owasso Rams, Kylie
improved her discus toss by 40 feet.
She was
voted 2006 Gatorade Oklahoma Track and Field Athlete of
the Year and will attend SMU starting the fall of 2007 to throw the
discus and shot put for the legendary throwing program for the Mustangs.
